East Elevation is a cafe and events space on Lygon Street in the heart of East Brunswick. It is a large, light and open space with high cathedral ceilings, polished-concrete flooring and well-tended plants, that shares its building (under the same ownership) with Monsieur Truffe chocolate factory.
The building’s gritty, industrial qualities are juxtaposed by flourishing greenery and delicate decor.
The space is available for hire outside trading hours. East Elevation is an ideal space for parties, exhibitions, and performances — it floods with light during the day and glows at night. East Elevation can cater to a variety of standing and sit-down events with canapé, grazing table, and tailored set menus for you to choose from. Created by chef Brian Edwards, the menu is geared towards seasonal, local produce.
Built above the kitchen in an open roof space you will see the young kitchen garden. Here a variety of greens and sprouts thrive beneath large skylights and passionfruit vines lace the exposed beams.
Our cafe is open seven days from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 5pm on weekends. We also open for dinners on Thursday and Friday nights from 7pm to 10pm.
